Seven Months

Tristan is Seven months old! Crazy! I think the seventh month has been the toughest so far for me. Tristan is doing well, crawling this month and learning new things every day. One of the things he learned is that crying allows him to get his way a lot of the time. I am having to really pay attention to whether or not his cry is distress or just boredom or wanting me to make his life easier. I am realizing that he is not always going to be happy, and struggle is good for him. He's getting so vocal about his dislikes now. He also had his 3rd cold this month. It was his worst cold yet. He actually ran a low grade fever a few times. He is feeling much better now, though and things are getting back to some semblance of normal. Of-course, he is still a really happy boy, very smiley and cute most of the time. I love being home with him. Tristan continues to be a textbook sleeper, and I am very blessed in that department.

Tristan's 6th month

As of December 19, 2009 Tristan is 6 months old. Wow! Half of one year! Life has been wild since his arrival and he is now such a big boy, learning new things every day. His sixth month was quite eventful as well. He enjoyed his first snow storm, first Christmas, first New Year and he busted in his first two teeth. He tries to crawl, but can't quite get it. He scoots around on his butt and pulls up on everything. He tries to be so big. His favorite words are dada and nana, but he also bables guh, mama and baba. I am trying to get him to combine the guh and da to say good! He looks at me like I'm from outer space;) It is truly amazing how much he understands and he learns new things each and every day. He is such a blessing!
