The tale of Benjamin bunny / Figure skating
Our tale of Benjamin bunny begins where my post a few days ago left off, with two little bunnies living in our backyard. Yesterday, one of them fell down into the window well and the kids spotted him while playing in the basement.

The kids and I also went to see some of the figure skating competition at the world arena this morning. We watched the young girls compete for about an hour. This was a new sport for my kids and they both sat amazed for about half of the time. Then they started to get bored. That's okay, I enjoy free things and it was super neat to see the talented little ice skaters.
He is the cutest little thing, but he looked really scared and wasn't moving around, so while getting groceries later, we picked up some lettuce and some carrots and gave them to the little guy for lunch. After this snack he began jumping as high as he could, attempting escape (futile, he only made about half the distance needed). He also began to show interest in us.
We left him trapped down there until Jason came home from work. Jason set up a contraption for him to use to jump out of the window well, little bits at a time. This worked and the little guy was free by dinner. Ready to meet his brother, and hopefully keep his curiosity in-check in the future.
