Spring flowers

Landscaping has been our primary occupation for the last two weeks and our plants are flowering. The crabapple tree is beautifully shaped (though tiny) and has pretty pink and white flowers. I plan to remove any budding fruit in order to allow the tree to use it's energy for good growth this year.
The bumblebees have noticed the flowers and visit every day. I am excited to see if we attract butterflies to the little "butterfly" garden we planted. I'll keep you posted.
