Dessert, anyone?

This evening my dessert had mixed reviews. I served warm pumpkin bread pudding topped with yogurt and spice pear compote. Tristan loved the pear and yogurt, not a fan of "his" bread pudding (recipe from this month's Highlights magazine). Jason couldn't palate any more than one bite of it. His face after the first bite had me laughing so hard I was crying. I started thinking about it and realized nothing in the dessert had sugar in it. Other than the pears' natural sweetness, I did not add any sugar and the yogurt (though whole fat) was plain. It made me laugh to think about a dessert without any sugar in it. Anastasia and I really enjoyed all of it and there were no left-overs:)
