Letter J week and Easter prep
Last week we learned about the letter J. We incorporated Jack and Jill into our circle time, using thumbs-up to be Jack and Jill up the hill and thumbs down when they fell down. We talked about Jesus, Jellyfish and Jaguars. We also made a little toilet paper Court Jester craft. That one didn't really seem to intrigue the kids. Jellyfish, on the other hand, fascinating! We visited Mote Aquarium a few weeks ago and saw many types of Jellyfish. That likely helped fuel interest.
Other than that, we also spent some time prepping for Easter. A little early, but our schedule demanded that this year. The kids loved dyeing eggs and they also did well making the cards. (Hope this post doesn't ruin any surprises.)

I also wanted to mention that the Amazing Race apologized for the episode about Vietnam. The apology was for the fallen B-52 that was highlighted in the episode. Anyway, I thought that I'd follow up with that, since I also took issue with that episode.
