Christmas Recap

Happy Belated Christmas 2013. What a big December for our family. In addition to closing on our home and Gwendolyn turning one month old, we also remembered our Savior during the time of Advent. I mentioned in a previous post the advent calendar that I love and we also made time for one of my favorite things, a live nativity. Living Hope Community Church put this one together in Dublin, PA and we actually visited the little town of Bethlehem, the shepherds in the woods and baby Jesus in the barn with all of the animals. There was even a camel! Amazing! It doesn't get much better than a live nativity to remember our savior's birthday.
Christmas, like Thanksgiving, was spent at home in PA. We joined Calvary Church in Souderton for Christmas Eve services, complete with glow sticks and a light show synchronized to Christmas music. We shared meals and gifts with family after Christmas morning in our new home and a nice Skype call with more family. The day after Christmas we visited the local ice rink for public skate hour. It was a blast! One of the Christmas traditions that we hope to keep going for years to come. Tristan and Ana actually seemed to enjoy being out on skates this year. Gwendolyn enjoyed hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa (who got snowed out of his golf game).
I received a new camera from Jason (Santa) for Christmas. Enjoy the pics. There will be many more to come!
