The ides of March

Well, it's April now, but I never would have imagined the snow that we have today. Only a few inches, but still, it was a very warm weekend to be followed by this winter storm.
We enjoyed the warmth of the weekend. Spent a lot of time working in the yard and also visited the bluffs around the lake in Pueblo. As you can see from the pictures, even though there is water, it is not green:) The bluffs were beautiful and Pikes Peak was still visible from down there. Anytime I can see Pikes Peak, I am a happy camper.
Anastasia is enjoying hiking on her own and loved picking up dry sticks found by the trail. Tristan is beginning to enjoy more challenging hikes. A flat walk down the sidewalk doesn't cut it for him these days. That makes me excited, but the two of them do tire easily.
We are excited about the snow today. We've been hoping for one more snow. When Ana wakes up we will go out and play in the cold:)

In other news, the Kentucky wildcats pulled it off this year! So awesome! Now I'm just waiting to see if Anthony Davis goes pro or decides to see his education through. Could be another great year of Kentucky Basketball ahead for 2013!
